Hot off the loom this morning! This will be for sale at the Wimberley Valley Art League Annual Show & Sale, unless it's snatched up before then. The show runs October 19-21 at the Community Center in Wimberley and Kendrick Kreations is planning to have a vendor slot there. I've gone to this show in the past as a customer, and there is always a great variety of unique art and wearables. If you're in the area, please plan to stop by! It's been a busy day getting all these bags lined and ready to go. Ocean bag still needs a strap, but I'm basically ready for the big day!
Well, it's been a busy few weeks and this coming week will be the final push to get ready for the show in Austin on May 5th. I've prepared a number of colorful and soft fiber batts for spinning, made quite a few "Wish & A Prayer" flags, various bookmarks, and have yet to assemble 3-4 bags and tissue covers, but it's all coming together! There will even be a few little surprise items, which are brand new.
If you live in the area, I do hope you'll stop by and see all the lovely handmade items and meet the 16 artists who worked so hard getting ready for the bid day. Treat your Mom to something special -- Mother's Day is right around the corner. |
