The Rose arrived on January 12 and has been working hard making yarn for six days straight. I cannot say enough about this great wheel. It was assembled in less than an hour; no problems whatsoever. Majacraft makes this task really easy; great instructions with lots of detailed photos. This is the newest model of the Rose and I particularly like what they've done with the engraved rose; it's quite beautiful. I am still awaiting the arrival of a wild flyer kit and several jumbo bobbins, specifically for creating art yarns, but can muddle through until they get here. |
See Jane and Michele spin. Jane is a new spinner, who brought a very old Roberta electric spinner with her. We managed to get it working and she was spinning within a couple of hours. I'm so proud of her! Jane is the owner of McRanch in Dripping Springs, Texas, where I recently purchased some lovely mohair locks. I also got to meet the angora goats, which she raises. They are so cuddly and cute, you just want to take them home with you! If you haven't been to McRanch, you really should consider a visit. |
